Welcome to Manchester, Salford and Trafford LOC
The purpose of this site is to provide GOS contractors and practitioners, other health care practitioners and the public with information on all aspects of eye care provision available locally in the Manchester, Salford and Trafford areas.
The enlarged LOC was formed from the merger of Manchester LOC and Salford and Trafford LOC in October 2022. It is an active member of the Confederation of Greater Manchester LOCs. The Confederation was formed to liaise with NHS England in Greater Manchester in matter relating to General Ophthalmic Services, as well as to participate with the GM Health & Social Care Partnership (DevoManc).
